Celtic Friends Network

Ultimate resource for finding Celtic Jewelry, Art, Friends, Topics and Goods.

My partner (Gary) and I produce the Celtic Myth Podshow. It is a free Podcast telling tales from Celtic Mythology released once every two weeks. We started the Podcast in February 2008, telling tales from The Irish Mythological Cycle. A year on and the show now has 15,000 listeners worldwide and our supporting website has 12,000 plus hits per week.
We are now coming to the end of the stories from The Lebor Gabála Érenn (The Book of the Takings of Ireland. better known as The Book of Invasions.). Within the next few months we will start to tell stories from the Welsh Mabinogion decided by a poll for Listeners on our website.
We also produce special shows to celebrate the Pagan/Celtic/Christian festivals through out the year, The content for these shows consists of folklore, stories old and new, and songs that in someway relate to that particular festival.
To support the show we maintain a website with a news blog, forum, shownotes, Celtic artists galleries and much more. We also have a Facebook group and a Myspace Page and Twitter Accounts through which we can be contacted. Details can be found at http://celticmythpodshow.com/contactus.php
Neither of us are scholars or native speakers of the either Celtic languages or mythology, but we have a love of all things Celtic and felt there was a need for these wonderful tales to be shared with the world. We really hope you enjoy listening to the shows as much as we enjoy recording them :)
