Two IMA Music awards for the High Kings by Joe Cashin.
Congratulations to The High Kings who were presented with two Irish Music Awards during a show in conjunction with the World Fleadh in Castlebar last weekend. Local folk singers Darren Holden Mooncoin, Finbar Clancy, Carrick on Suir, Martin Clancy, Dunmore East and Brian Dunphy, Dublin. They were thrilled to recieve the two Irish Music Awards (IMA), The best Newcomer award and the best Folk group. They were also thrilled to play alongside Moving Hearts, Sharon Shannon and De Dannan.
