hello. great to see a Celtic stitching group. I have a yahoo group for Celtic cross stitch so will give them the info and see if a few new members come over.

I am in to a bit of everything including beading. Have made some Celtic style beadedjewelry based on what I saw in a catalog - just made it with the findings that I wanted with the colors I like. Would love to that a metal smithing course.

Sigh... I waste so much time explaining to people that the patterns with the laced bodice and skirt is not Celtic, it is a costume. Certainly isn't 12th century. Now I can come here and beat my head on the walls and everyone will understand.

Yay, a sewing and needlework group. Now I have a place I can ask questions and get ideas as well as share my new Celtic embroidery stuff.

I'm so happy to have found this site! I specialize in quilted wallhangings of Celtic-style animals, especially those found in The Book of Kells. Are there any quilters out there with a love of Celtic knots and animals?
