Sometimes a Web Site in transit has a back up of original for awhile, like a .org spare or at a webmaster.com address so, don't give up. It never hurts to ask. Wishing you the best about salvaging your special poems. Heads up, OK?

Absinthe Medieval

The Fays have sprinkled faerie dust
Their hosts,in vales of myrtles,
And swords,skian dubhs, Tequila Rose,
And maidens in their kirtles.

My absinthe, medieval, lutes
And vielles assail my slumber
And plunge me in this dusky night
Unleashed in all its wonder.

To you I raise my greedy glass,
As on my bier I ponder
Which way,which road that I might take
Where faeries are wont to wander.

I kiss them as they disappear,
My eyes are glazed and leaden;
But angels,'fore me,they appear
And rapture me t… Continue

PRODS & TAIGS:You Are All Either saved or You Ain't!

Quit saying the Prods hate the taigees-
Quit saying the Taigs hate the prods;
Tis the Sassanachs & their liars have confused 'em,
By confounding the matter of God.

For there is no difference in Jesus-
You are all either saved or you ain't;
But God will resolve the confusion
And the lies about church and 'bout state.

Don't speak of the Alien Minister
Or his church without meaning or faith;
For the foundation-stone of his temple
Is the ballocks of Henry the Eighth.

But God will resolve the… Continue

THE DEAD MAN'S CONFESSION

(This is a sort of horror story,so don't be surprised,cuz Bram Stoker,Sheridan Lefanu, and others have done well and better)

I chopped up Mary-Alice,
(Said a dead man in his poem)
but you will never find her-
she's the earth,that we make loam.

You ask me why i killed her-
i can't tell you-I don't know;
yes,i killed her,and i buried her
in the basement of my mother's home.

The fact does not much matter,
but i went bach,in awhile;
yes,i went back and i chopped her up,
like that guy in Seven Dia… Continue

I YIELD UNTO THE PEDESTRIANS OF CHANCE

the left subaltern from the right
breaks down before the paraphrase of thought;
i cast once more the balance in my wake;
a million unseen faces, bubbles of unseen climbing
between the sleep of clouded dreams
I climb as if unto windows under eaves
and sit for hours although
I rush through the void
and do not see what I am told to....
for once I seek only to enjoy myself
and damned be what doesn't:
to you I lift up my mind, o ghosts of
my fortune
for what avails this coming of
lite after nite with… Continue

Explanation of preceeding poem

After loads of skullduggery between the Chicago FBI,British intelligence,and other agencies,Michael McKevitt was shanghaied and condemned for the Omagh bombing.Only thing that was sure was he was in the IRA at the time.It was also shown that the RUC had the bomb and they moved it to where the most people could be dispatched.later,they condemned McKevitt for the 29 people it killed.Although he hasnt been convicted,they wanted a victim,and he was it.So he rests in Portlaoise prison until, 2016.Tha… Continue

Hi Charles - you are filled with Awen and know it well, already - you just didn't know the Welsh word for it! The Druids did use the word, to describe the "Divine poetic inspiration" of their Bards...and you are certainly a Bard!
It comes from the root word Awel that means "breeze." Kind of like Kamikaze - Divine Wind....but with happier results!

Shane is the one who suggested you post some of your poems, and since I just read the comment I would have to agree with that. You go for is Charles.
