Profile Information

About Me:
I'm a celtic inspired artist who started drawing and designing full time seven years ago, after being diagnosed with Fibromialga a condition that mean i live with constant pain, shakes, ibs and brain fog which i discibe as it playing games with my head, which with my previous job ( community development work, police pc trainer) caused quite a few memorable moments.
Since then i have worked on developing my own stile and networking with like minded souls, whilst getting my artwork known where ever i can this has included cover images for the Nottingham Women's Centre new letter and a number of pagan publications.
Just before my diagnoses i met the girl of my dreams and have setteled down, to rase my two teenages and our new baby Lewis whilst trying to grow my own veg and look after our expanding range of pets. Most of whom found us or we rescued, hence we now have four cats + a stray, a rabbit and two ginnie pigs.
Hobbies/Interests:
Music has been a constant love of mine, i have frounted a rock band called a restless tide and i've ran the stage at a number of pride festivals, but now i only sing at home, mostly to rock, folk and old gothic classics.
I've been growing my own fruit and veg for about two years and developing my own herb garden.
Art of coarse, drawing painting and designing the odd tattoo + art history as i like to add symbols into my work.
Bringing as much nature into my garden as possible, has been a big help, if i cant get to them maybe they will come to me. i have so far had Foxes, colled doves, wood pigions, bats, house sparrows and lots of other littel birds, and insects and a toad whose taken up resedance under the hedge
My Profession:
Full time Artist and Mum, My gole if i have one is to get my art known, making money from it would be nice, but is secondary to having it seen.
Since having this illness i live with, i have found my artwork help's to inspire others with simmerla illnesses to have a go, and that in its self make my artwork rewarding.
Currently i am putting together a childrens book whilst continueing the tarot deck i have been work on for the last few years.

I'm going to stick my own web sight here as it needs updating and that will have to wait until later in the year.

Hi Cherrie,
Got some information I think would help take you to the next level with the sales of your works. It will take a bit of work, but it's so easy to do. I'm very impressed with it myself. No installing stuff on your site. Simply put in html code for each product and poof. Works great.

Recently I got signed up and created an affiliate program for my Celtic Tattoo Art. What it is, is a program that allows others to promote my art and earn a percentage. I give a generous 40% comission, but you can give however much you like. (I'll definately sign up and post you across hundreds of sites.)

Anyway, check out the link (and sign up) so you can see what it's about and how easy it is to use. Don't forget you have a friend here that will help you if you need it k. I sincerely believe this will help take you to the next level.

Join our affiliate program and start earning 40% on each sale you refer today!

P.S. I made a sale on a tattoo design of yours the other day and need to send you some money. What is your paypal email address so I can send it to you?

Hi Cherrie,
I checked out your site- excellent work indeed !!.
Is it pen & Ink & watercolour you use? What size are the originals?
When is the book coming out? I am currently working on finishing my book that has taken me five long years and many scrapped paintings later.
Where in Donegal are your friends from?
All the best with everything.
Red Dragon Sun rise is as we say in Donegal - "Deadly!!"
Kind regards
John

Cherrie,
Good to hear back from you.
It's good to have a room to work in, I have an office/studio, by it's still called the dining room, I have taken over the room.
I know what it's like to have little ones running about, My daughters god-children are here most weekends.
The we do respite care, for to girls with learning disabilities, that take up a bit of time.
Still not this weekend, I shall be watching the rugby on TV this afternoon, then get back to trying to enter pictures on my website.
Speak again soon
Brian
