Whenever I go to the faires I always think "I should do that" but never do. I'm always trying to start to many projects and I have to make sure I'm selective about what I begin. I think you should really consider it. You never know where it will take you! Often it's the "hobby sized" businesses that really take off!

I always heard pants were hard, so when I tried them I took my time. Its weird because you have to kind of put one pant leg inside-out into the other and sew. I'm not crazy about doing the closures, but because I took my time the first time sewing pants, I can do them fine now. My malfunction is sleeves. Everytime I make a shirt or somethign with sleeves I always sew one sleeve wrong no matter how well I pin and check to make sure it's on right... it's just my personal quirk.
:P

Welcome to the Celtic Friends Network! I also like to sew... particularly historical garb, although I'm not a member of the SCA. It's just something that I enjoy when I have the chance. I made my mother a gown influenced by Queen Elizabeth I's coronation dress to try to get her more interested in Renaissance faires. :P Is your persona in teh SCA Celtic by any chance?
