Hi John sorry its taken me some time to get back to you, i've been a bit busy, i'm like that when i've got a peace of work on the go i just go off into my own little world. my friend as i called them is Noel and Padraig from Clannad, i had met Moya and a number of gigs and allway said hi but at the last gig the guys joined us for a seasion in the pub afterwards, it was one of those night to remeber. and it was great just to see them being themselve for a change.
One of my teachers is navajo! I have the good fortune to have a day job in the arts. Even though it takes me away from making my own art, at least I get to make beautiful thngs with my hands in the School of Drama costume shop. Thank you for your lovely comment on my work!
You guessed right with the Led Zeppelin reference; it is one of the inspirations behind the name.
I had not heard of Marillion, I will check them out.
And thank you for the confidence boost for my art work, self doubt is one of my greatest enemies.
You are now n my links page, http://www.celticwanderings.com/links.html
I have biked on the Inish Peninsula but not up to Malin Head but to Malin and then Southwest to Moville and then South. It was another lifetime ago but what a great place to bike except the winds. Also I have done some Irish festivals in Stoneham at he collage there through the Irish cultural Center.Yea I love Kinnvarra!
Thanks

Thanks for requestng me as a friend. Where are you in Donegal. I have biked and photgraphed there a bit. Donegal is right in there on my top ten list of the places I love in Ireland. There was a point when I alomost had the wife sold on a move to Ireland back in the late 80's to move to the Carrick in the Slieve Leauge area. Too bad we were so damm poor. I have loved the way of life there, it's a little more laid back then in the states even thugh it has changed a bit since I was first there in the 70's. Well don't mean to go on and on. I'll check out yur site.
Thank you:) I like to get feedback - good or bad but obviously good is better (haha)!
If I had known about you when I got married I would have got my wedding invitations off you!
Yep - what is it with us Irish? Why can't we be a little bit more optimistic? You would think we were the only country in recession. I thought Brian Cowen was going to be a good Taoiseach but to be honest so far he has not shown much leadership. I don't even bother watching the news anymore because it just depresses me.
Anyway enough about the "r" word! As a friend of mine says; "2009 the year of opportunity" and that is the way we need to be thinking. I think this site is a fantastic site, not just for meeting some great people but giving people like ourselves a place where we can all show and be proud of our heritage. Best of luck!
Lisa
