Howdy, I'm Marcus Fisher and I live in the beautiful hills of western Massachusetts. I have two dogs, one cat, a draft pony and a mammoth donkey but no cows yet. I've been a builder, Saab mechanic, a pre-school teacher, sawmill and restaurant owner and for the last 20 years, a professional photographer.
Hobbies/Interests:
I love everything celtic and read a lot about the celtic world. Also do a bit of woodworking and building. At the moment a treehouse for friends but not for their kids. I do all kinds of building including timer frame and straw bale houses and barns. Love music and not just celtic but rock and roll. Been playing guitar and writing songs forever and just love getting together with friends and jamming. Also love to dance mostly rock and roll and contra dancing! Really enjoying this life!!!
My Profession:
I'm a professional photographer and have worked in documentary, architectural, and landscape photography. Since 1991 I have been making images from Ireland and Britain. I still use film and do my own printing, then sell my images at Art shows and through galleries. I'm in the process of doing 3 years of Irish calendar's, see my web site!

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond, sometimes life and all it's twist get in the way.
My fathers parents come from Ireland, my grandfather is from Dublin, and my grandmother is from Tulamore.
I too enjoy photography, though my camera just up and died on me, and at the moment can't afford a new one is right now I'm funneling what money I can into an old motorcycle I just got a month ago, I pick up a 1973 750 Triumph Tiger, all original, it was put away in 92, and took me only about three hours to get her running again, cleaned out the fuel system and rebuilt the carb, and it purrs.
Best regards
Bill
Hi Marcus,
Got some information I think would help take you to the next level with the sales of your works. It will take a bit of work, but it's so easy to do. I'm very impressed with it myself. No installing stuff on your site. Simply put in html code for each product and poof. Works great.
Recently I got signed up and created an affiliate program for my Celtic Tattoo Art. What it is, is a program that allows others to promote my art and earn a percentage. I give a generous 40% comission, but you can give however much you like. (I'll definately sign up and post you across hundreds of sites.)
Anyway, check out the link (and sign up) so you can see what it's about and how easy it is to use. Don't forget you have a friend here that will help you if you need it k. I sincerely believe this will help take you to the next level.
If you have any questions or whatever feel free to contact me.
Peace be the journey,
Shane Clark
Oh, they pay me if you sign up for the business account (has to be on sign up) so if you have any questions about it contact me first so I can send you $10.00 of the $30.00 that it costs to sign up back to you. Otherwise I won't be able to send it back to you.
Marcus,
I tried viewing your wife's site too. Neither one will load. The error says, "website is unable to display the webpage". For yours, I used the link you have above. I know that worked before because I used it when I featured you last month. Sorry, I'm not much help, I know.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, my divorce should be final by August and things are getting better every day :0).
I have not been back to Ireland but would like to some time in the near future. I had a horse and a pony when I lived there. Got bucked and almost kicked by a horse because I was standing to close his rear. I was forced back onto the horse, which was a good thing 'cause I was never afraid to ride again.
You're fortunate to have the opportunity to visit Ireland, plus you're much closer than I am. I've always been attracted to your part of the country. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in New England. About 10 years ago I was making plans to relocate to Connecticut, but my family and friends warned me that the summer is humid and I'd better be prepared to dig the snow out of my driveway in the winter, not too mention driving in it, which I'm never done. I'd like to visit there and see all of the historic places some day... perhaps on my way to Ireland!
I'd be happy to be your friend and thanks for the beautiful photos, you're really talented!
I would love to have some really interesting excuse for not replying in a timely manner but...I don't. I have been reading a lot and more stress from work than I care to think about. My youngest son is getting ready to graduate HS so I have been spending quality time cleaning and reorganizing -- part of my family are threatening to visit. Last but not least I am trying to put one of my dogs to rest. She disappeared late on January 30...I keep hoping to find her or at least know for sure what happened to her. There is a rumor but...well it is time for me to let go and I have had a hard time getting here. So if you have any good news or something playful -- I'm all ears!
Well, I'm not surprised your kids gave you gifts even after you told them it wasn't necessary. I am in Mass, but I'm up in the North Shore area, practically in NH. I have heard of the Northampton Brewery though.
Tyngsboro is on the border of Nashua, NH and also next door to Lowell, MA. it's a beautiful little community with lots of trees and a few farms. I don't know where u live but I'm sure it's beautiful. Tell me something about Ireland. My grandmother was from County Cork and Kerry area. My mother said her mother came from Ireland when she was 12. I have always had a burning desire to visit there since i can't remember. Tell me what places to see and is it worth to take a tour bus trip once there or rent a car with my family and do the touring on our own. Do u recommend staying in hotels or Bed and Breakfasts places or renting a apt. or home. From the photo's of Ireland I've seen through the yrs I have fallen in love with Ireland over and over. It's where my heart yearns to be, if u know what I mean. My kids are just as excited as me to visit there. I really enjoyed looking at your photo's of Ireland. It's a magical place it seems!
