Hey my name is Matt. I'm 20 years old and I live in the United States. I just started getting into the Scottish Highland Games in my area, and got interested in learning Scottish Gaelic. I have been trying for a year but it's hard with no one to talk to . So here I am.
Hobbies/Interests:
Snowboarding, Heavy Throwing, Frisbee, Bicycle Riding.

Hey Matt,
Welcome to the network! I'm interested in learning Scottish Gaelic too, but only Irish seems to be readily available. Although more people know Irish Gaelic, apparently more people habitually speak Scottish Gaelic, at least in their respective countries. I've also heard that if Scottish Gaelic looses 10,000 more speakers, it will officially become a dead language. I've picked up somethings here and there, but I'm far from being able to use it properly. I love the Highland Games; they almost make you feel at home just about anywhere. Are there many festivals in your area?
