Celtic Heritage Festival of the Ozarks a Great Success

Just got back from a weekend of fun at the annual Celtic Heritage Festival in Buffalo, Missouri. It is the best of the Celtic Festivals, and Highland Games, for the Ozarks. What a great time.

We brought in the haggis from The Caledonian Kitchen this year. Set along side the N's and t's , it was wonderful. One of the local members of the Springfield St. Andrew's Society made Scottish eggs and "toads in the hole." Am I making anyone hungry yet? Topped it off with bread pudding.

It was a lower tu… Continue

In Celtic lore, the circle of the cross represents the… Continue

Thanks Kate. I hear the same. For me, though, that is OK. I enjoy brewing beer, and the brewing is better in the winter. It may also help with our Japanese beetle problem.

Thanks for the comment, and I hope to get to chat often.
