I am the Director of Anam Cara Writer's and Artist's Retreat in Eyeries on the Beara Peninsula in Co. Cork, Ireland. Founded in 1998, Anam Cara is open to novice as well as experienced people working in the creative arts.
Hobbies/Interests:
My interest in joining the Celtic Friends Network is to learn more about others interested in things Celtic and to let them know about Anam Cara and all it provides. High on a hillside between Coulagh Bay and Mishkish on the Kealincha River, it is an all-inclusive retreat offering private and common working areas and five acres of walking paths, quiet nooks and crannies, gardens, meadows, and a labyrinth.
Website/Personal Page Where I Provide A Link To This Site:
lol... Guess I got in a hurry to get back to my latest creation; the United Celtic Nations. Forgot to give you a link.
There is a funny looking thing on the welcome page you might find of interest. It links to social sites for each respective Celtic country. Join any that you feel you belong to of course.
Hi Sue,
Welcome to the Celtic Friends Network. I'm super busy so I gotta keep this kinda short. Been building the United Celtic Nations and all the respective Celtic Heritage sites as social networks. Pretty neet stuff. I'm my own worst competition... lol.
It's not quite ready yet but you are free to join any you feel you would like to belong to.
Anyway, I really enjoy hearing about the retreat. If I can ever afford it I'd like to come out there and spend some time, perhaps polishing up my series of Celtic informational books before I publish. It's definately on the top of the wish list.
Guess it's back to work. Hope you have a great evening.
Peace be the journey,
Shane Clark
P.S. Here is some info on the affiliate program. I'll be adding more catagories like the stuff in the Celtic store, Celtic embroidery etc.

Wish I were in Ireland.
